Christmas At The Chicken Barn

Today was Clean-up Day at the Chicken Barn, so I decided to share some pictures.
I had to spruce up the Chicken Barn for Christmas, just a little.
Mother gave me these old metal roosters for our chicken barn.  I had this old lantern and thought it would look good out here.  I put a solar light inside of it!
Can you spot Cuddles?
I may have to make some Christmas cards using this picture! Cuddles is such a beautiful cat!
 Here's sweet little Cali!
Who's first in line for a clean dust bath?
Nice clean nesting boxes
You can thank me later with nests full of eggs!

Here's a new face.
Meet our newest addition, Miles.
He's a stray, or should I say he was a stray.
I've got to get some cats "fixed" around here, or we may end up with more cats than chickens!

  2. What sweet cats, and chickens too. We had a chicken coop when I was growing up, with nice brown eggs in the boxes to collect. Decorating your barn is a cleaver idea, with the metal figures, and then some festive Christmas cheer. Thank you for sharing with us here at "Tell Me a True Story."

    1. Thanks so much! I will have to tell my husband because he built it. I drew the plans and he did an exceptional job, if I do say so myself. Thanks for visiting my blog.
      God bless.

    1. My chickens do bring me a lot of joy. I love the large brown eggs, and I get a thrill out of fixing up the barn. I hope you'll be able have chickens again. If you live in town or have limited space, chicken tractors are nice little coops. You can push them around to different areas in your yard. It's an easy way to fertilize your lawn.
      Thanks for visiting.
      God bless.

  6. I am so in love with your barn!!! When we moved, we gave up hope of having a little piece of land to grow veggies and raise chickens. I know that it is God's timing, but I am bookmarking this page for future reference. ;-)

    1. Thanks! I hope you will visit me often. I have written several posts about my chickens, and I have many pictures under my "Weekly Pics" posts. Maybe you will have chickens and a piece of land someday. If you leave it up to God's timing, it will all work out perfectly.
      God bless.
